If you follow me on instagram ( gallery to the right –> ) then you know I just made it home from an amazing adventure. 3 seams, an organization that does job creation in the developing world has taken me to Haiti twice in the past and now Cambodia and Nepal! It is such a blessing to work with them over the years and see their organization grow and keep families together all over the world! More on them later, I am finishing up all of their marketing images and video for their site and will share soon! But first, I wanted to share a few of our travel photos with you! I was so excited that my friend Amanda ( and 2nd shooter for most of my weddings ) got to come along with me! It was great to have an extra shooter b/c I was also doing lots of video!
Our first few days were spent relaxing, getting over jet lag, and exploring Siem Reap and getting to know this amazing country before we started work! We spent a morning at Angkor Wat, one of the Seven wonders of the world! It is the largest religious monument in the world and took close to 30 years to complete.
I have an obsession with textured walls. We spent a few days just outside of Sisophone at the 3 seams sewing center documenting the families and the amazing work they are doing there! More to come on 3 seams later.
They may not have much.. but I love that family photos are so important to them! All of the ladies wanted a printed copy of the photos we took for them to hang up!One of the families that are together because of job creation with 3 seams!
I put together a quick video of iPhone footage.. nothing special. Most of it is riding in a Tuk Tuk or back of a moto so it’s a little shaky.. but still wanted to share! Enjoy!
